As an NP with Hold Health Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with various healthcare facilities in different parts of Canada, providing exceptional patient care and making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnosis
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and within the scope of practice
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies
• Develop and implement patient care plans and provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment options
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
• Active registration with the nursing college in the province/territory where you will be working
• Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Vulnerable Persons Check and Adult and Child Abuse Registry Check
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Empathy and observational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Specialty Skills:

• Family Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in providing primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adults, and seniors.
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in managing patients with acute medical conditions, knowledge of emergency medicine, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Geriatric Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in providing care to elderly patients with multiple chronic conditions, knowledge of geriatric care, and ability to manage complex medical and mental health needs.
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in providing care to children with acute and chronic medical conditions, knowledge of child development, and ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.
• Mental Health Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in providing care to patients with mental health conditions, knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, and ability to provide comprehensive mental health care.
• Women's Health Nurse Practitioners: Must have experience in providing care to women across the lifespan, including gynecologic and reproductive health services, knowledge of women's health issues, and ability to provide comprehensive care.
